Engineering Solutions has announced the release of the XPedite6109, a high-performance, air-cooled XMC/PrPMC single-board computer (SBC) designed for power-sensitive, high-reliability military and aerospace applications. The module supports an NXP QorIQ T1042 processor and accommodates up to 8 GB of DDR3 ECC SDRAM to ensure data integrity in demanding environments.
The onboard T1042 processor integrates four e5500 cores running at up to 1.4 GHz with a single DDR3 memory channel, providing excellent processing density within a highly efficient, low-power envelope. For tailored mission requirements, alternate processor configurations featuring the NXP QorIQ T1022 or T2081 are also available.
Optimized for rugged networking and communications platforms, the XPedite6109 provides excellent connectivity options. It delivers four 10/100/1000BASE-T Ethernet ports directly to the front panel. Additional high-speed I/O routed to the P14/P15 connectors includes USB 2.0, PCI Express, and flexible RS-232/422/485 serial interfaces.
