IMCO Signs Global Collaboration Agreement to Develop Smart Engine Management System for Armored Vehicles
IMCO Group, a leading provider of advanced solutions and subsystems for the defense and industrial sectors, announced today the signing of a strategic collaboration agreement with a global armored vehicles drive solutions leader.
Under the agreement, IMCO will develop the Engine Diagnostic and Sensor Suite (EDSS) — a smart engine management and sensor system to be marketed by the drive systems manufacturer as an advanced solution for improving engine performance and reliability and extending engine lifespan.
The EDSS is designed to optimize engine performance and durability for both new and in-service engines installed in armored vehicles across global armed forces. By connecting to multiple onboard engine sensors, the system automatically adjusts engine operational parameters in real time — to improve engine performance, reduce maintenance cycles and costs, and extend overhaul time intervals.
The EDSS is part of IMCO’s Health and Usage Monitoring System (HUMS) — a real-time vehicle monitoring platform that tracks key operational parameters and enables predictive maintenance to ensure safe and continuous mission readiness.
“We are grateful to our partner for its continued trust and the opportunity to support its mission to lead the future of armored vehicle drive technologies,” said Ariel Kandel, CEO of IMCO Group. “As part of our global growth strategy and commitment to technological leadership, this collaboration reaffirms the confidence of top-tier integrators in IMCO’s innovation, quality, and mission-critical solutions.”
